Marie Bourdon came to wine from outside the traditional family-winery route. Born in Essonne in 1994, she first studied art history and archaeology before moving into restaurants and later training as a sommelier.

After spending time working with growers in different wine regions, she settled in the Jura. In 2016 she joined Raphaël Monnier at Domaine Ratapoil, an experience that became an important part of her development as a grower and winemaker. She also worked with him on the Avis de Tempête project before releasing her first independent vintage in 2019.

Marie keeps the cellar work very restrained, avoiding fining, filtration and unnecessary additions. Vinyle is made from directly pressed Chardonnay and, depending on the vintage, is aged in a combination of wooden vessels and stainless steel before bottling.

Reps brings together Savagnin and Poulsard from old vines, with the grapes harvested by hand, macerated for around a week and then aged in stainless steel. Production remains small, with the wines focused on clarity, texture and the character of the Jura.
